FarmAT is an autonomous farm operating system. Draw the farm you already know — fields, orchards, borewells — and FarmAT turns that sketch into a living digital twin. From there, software agents schedule and switch your irrigation, pumps and valves on hardware you already own.
Small and mid-size farms run on judgement, timing and phone calls — and every hour spent opening a valve is an hour not spent farming.
Pumps and valves are switched by hand, on memory. One missed evening and a crop is stressed; one forgotten pump and a borewell runs dry.
Which field needs what, when — it's experience, not data. It doesn't scale to hired help, and it doesn't survive a bad season.
Industrial PLCs and consultant-priced systems assume budgets a small farm doesn't have. The hardware that's affordable — smart switches, plugs, pumps — nobody has wired an OS around.
Draw what you already know on paper or a phone: fields, orchards, the borewell, where the water goes. No site survey, no installer.
sketch → farm modelVision models extract your layout into a structured digital twin — plots, crops, water sources, devices — that you can correct and grow over time.
digital twin · live stateAgentic policies read the twin — moisture, weather, crop stage — and act on real switches: pumps on, valves sequenced, runtimes capped, everything logged.
agents → edge devicesFarmAT's control plane runs at the edge on an ordinary Android box — no PLC, no gateway appliance, no new wiring. If the internet drops, the farm keeps running.
Farm records, telemetry history, remote dashboards and alerts — advisory, never a single point of control.
The decision layer: irrigation schedules, interlocks and dry-run guards, evaluated continuously against the digital twin.
Local control executes on the farm itself — off-the-shelf Tuya switches and pumps, driven directly from a low-cost Android device.
Every claim below runs in the repo today — built to production standard from day one, because the POC has to be the product.
FarmAT switches a physical borewell pump through an off-the-shelf Tuya smart switch — device discovery, on/off control and a runtime-capped pump test, exercised end-to-end against real hardware.
hardware/tuya_switch · scripts/pump_test · scripts/check_devicesA farmer's hand-drawn layout becomes a structured farm model. Extraction is evaluated with a proper harness — prompts, scoring and three ground-truth farms (borewell, orchard, two-field) to grade models against before they're trusted.
evals/sketch-extraction · 3 ground-truth farmsThe agentic layer turns twin state into device commands with hard failsafes: run-time caps, dry-run guards and a log of every switch. The pump test above is the first agent action, run manually.
FastAPI agents → edge control planeTyped code, tested edge drivers, secrets out of git, feature branches off main. The system farmers will run is the system investors are looking at.
typed · tested · production conventionsPilot borewell and irrigation control with a handful of partner farms, using the edge stack that already works.
Tuya valve and sensor support, weather- and crop-aware irrigation policies, and a farmer-facing dashboard on the digital twin.
Self-serve onboarding — sketch a farm, connect switches, let agents run it — with multi-farm dashboards for FPOs and agri-service providers.
We're raising a seed round to take agent-run irrigation from verified hardware to the first pilot farms. Talk to us about the deck, the demo, or the farm you want to be first.
